After a great view over the Strážovské Mountains
Walk to the top of the Roháč Mountain with a breath-taking view over the Strážovské Mountains and the surrounding valley.
The National Natural Reserve Podskalský Roháč is a protected area in the Strážovské Mountains. It stretches around the Roháč Mount (720 m), known for its many rock towers and bizarre rock formations.
Your trail starts in the little mountain village Podskalie, right under the mountain. Once you leave the village behind, you will pass by a beautiful chapel of the Virgin Mary of the Snow.
Before the very top of the mountain you will need to pass through the „rock eye“, a rock formation with a 2,5-meter hole.
